Child Body Anatomy Poster
Young children are always curious about everything so it’s a good idea to get them started learning about the different parts of their bodies as early as possible. The Child Body Anatomy Poster from Bruce Algra Posters is a vibrant and colourful way to help kids learn the names of basic body parts.
This poster is ideal for preschools, children’s rooms or even nurseries. It exposes young children to the basics of human anatomy and reinforces learning from a very early age. The words used are very easy to read and promotes positive reinforcement which helps the child’s mental development and builds their confidence.
Introducing Children to Basic Anatomy
The Child Body Anatomy Poster is part of the Kids Anatomy Series from Bruce Algra – a company that specialises in developing health and fitness posters for schools and teachers. The Kids Anatomy Poster series was designed specifically for children in preschool to early years with different posters that illustrate different systems of the human body such as skeletal, muscular, circulatory and digestive systems.
The left side of the poster has a drawing of a little girl named Catie who wears a cute yellow ribbon on her hair. It shows the front view and all the major parts of the body from the forehead down to the toes. Close to two dozen different body parts from the face, torso and limbs are clearly labelled in great detail.
On the right shows the back view of Justin, a young boy wearing a colourful pair of shorts. All the other body parts that cannot be seen from the front are labelled and pointed out on this side. The names used for the body parts are all very simple to help encourage even very young children to learn just by looking at the poster. Its details can be easily understood even without the need for any formal instruction or supervision. Using drawings of children and giving them names makes the information presented more relatable and also makes it easier to remember for young kids.
This poster is ideal for classrooms, playgrounds and even at home in children’s rooms or nurseries. It is an excellent visual aid for class discussions and activities, and is also a great choice for sprucing up or decorating any space to be more child-friendly.
