Pressure ulcer model, oedema trainers, negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) trainers, bandaging simulator, arterial and venous insufficiency leg models, dressing change trays, skin models, skin cancer models and skin burn models.
These wound care models will allow nurse practitioners and clinical nurse consultants to teach and enhance knowledge in their wound care workshops for clinicians to discuss and devise treatment plans to optimise patient care.
The wound care models demonstrate unhealthy foot with, cracked skin, bunions, callus, corn, toenail fungus, open pressure point sores, gangrene, maceration, blisters, Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Stage 4, deep tissue injury, unstageable pressure ulcers, partial thickness wounds, surgical wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, undermining and tunnelling wounds, subcutaneous eschar and slough, exposed tendon bone and muscle. The Arterial and Venous Insufficiency models demonstrate arterial ulcers, necrotic toes, eschar heels, cellulitis, dystrophic nail, venous ulcers, stasis dermatitis, varicose veins, haemoserous staining, vasculitis, atrophie blanching, maceration, pyoderma gangrenosum, calciphylaxis and healed foot ulcer.
Routine cleansing and dressing changes can be taught and practiced on all wounds or identifying conditions and underlying disease states. Compression wrapping or bandaging can also be used on the venous leg models.
