Skull of Paranthropus Boisei

Discovered at the Olduvai Gorge (Tanzania, East Africa), in 1959. Found in the bottom stratum of bed I Olduvai. The skull has been dated to the Lower Pleistocene Age, approximately 1.7 million years old. The lower jaw was reconstructed after an original finding near Peninj (Tanzania, near Natron Lake) in 1964, aged at approximately 1.6 million years old.
