Development of a Set of Teeth

This model set consists of four sturdy life-size plastic models, mounted on single hardwood base, which trace the development of human jaws and teeth from birth through to adulthood.

Each model depicts the right half of the maxilla and mandible cut open to expose the roots of the teeth and developing teeth within the jaws.

The models are colour-coded to identify deciduous, successional and superadded permanent teeth, including the jaws of newborn, 5 year old, 9 year old and adult.
